The Powers of Unicorns

Unicorns are mythical beasts that cannot be tamed by man. There are depictions of unicorns throughout the centuries, notably medieval England. People see unicorns as innocent pure creatures, but their powers go beyond that.  They are not exactly what My Little Pony depicts them as.

-Unicorns are attracted to purity. The only way to capture a unicorn would be to use an innocent maiden to lure it under a tree. A hunter would be waiting nearby to capture it. If the girl was only pretending to be good, the Unicorn would tear her to shreds for lying.

-Unicorns' horns, the alicorn,  have medicinal properties. The dust of a Unicorn horn can protect against any disease.

-Unicorns can heal.
